Jeremy Houser, PhD

Co-Founder &
Board President

Jeremy is a graduate of Concordia College and received his PhD in Microbiology and Immunology from the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center.

He has held a variety of positions the biotech industry, covering drug discovery, pre-clinical/IND enabling research, and platform/process development. 

Madelyn Clancy

Co-Founder &
Board Secretary

Madelyln graduated from Concordia College with a degree in Business and Marketing. She held positions in sales and marketing in the Fargo area before coming to the biotech industry.

Since coming to science, she has specialized in project management, procurement, supply chain logistics, and other business operations for biotech research. 

Brandon Taylor, CPA, CVA

Board Treasurer

Brandon Taylor is a Certified Public Accountant and Certified Valuation Analyst with over seven years of experience at Haga Kommer. He earned degrees in Accounting and Economics from the University of North Dakota and is also a licensed financial advisor.

He enjoys playing hockey, golfing, hunting, fishing, and spending time with friends and family. He is proud to contribute his time and expertise to Houser Labs and is passionate about making a positive impact in the community.

Wyatt Warkenthien

Board Member

Wyatt holds a degree in Biotechnology from North Dakota State University where he held leadership positions in a variety of related organizations.

He is an accomplished entrepreneur in the Ag-Tech space, and is an emerging local leader in the effort to grow research output in the region. He is the co-founder of Frontier Bioforge LLC, now Lilac Agriculture.

Dr. James Carlson

 Dr. Carlson is a longtime fixture of the Fargo innovation ecosystem, first as the founder of PRACS and now with Agassiz Clinical Research Partners. He has been involved in the clinical testing of thousands of generic and blockbuster drugs, and has designed multiple clinical testing facilities in Fargo.

 

Jim Cooper 

With decades of experience in ecosystem-building and startup acceleration, Jim has helped shepherd countless ideas to market across multiple sectors. In his current role at Unfinished Ventures, he maintains a pipeline of innovative projects and connects them to global markets, especially across Australia and the United States.

David Dietz 

In his role as President and CEO of Preference Employment Solutions, David works alongside many of the region's fastest-growing organizations to meet their HR, payroll, and staffing needs. His passion for entrepreneurship, relationship-building, and community service comes through in every aspect of his work.

Justin Forde

Justin is a long-time fundraiser, community-builder, and business leader in North Dakota. He has been involved in numerous high-impact projects across the state and region, coordinating local, state, and national resources to support innovation and community problem-solving.

Audrey Glogoza

When Ascend Indiana was looking for someone to help shape the future of the Indianapolis biotech ecosystem, Audrey answered the call. She helped create new pathways into the field for aspiring scientists, and is now bringing that wealth of experience in workforce development back home to Fargo.

Dustin Poole

Between managing sales and operations for Cambridge Scientific and interviewing groundbreaking researchers for social media, Dustin is leading the charge to make innovation accessible to everyone. He brings a unique perspective on incubator labs as both a former tenant and a current leader at one of the premier facilities in Boston.
